How have you managed your eczema differently through the years?

As a child, your parents may have been in charge of your eczema care. As you grew up, it became more and more your own responsibility. How has that changed? Are there things you used to do that you don't do now? Or vice versa? How has a lifetime of eczema changed how you've managed it?
