People celebrating with confetti

Celebrating 2 Years of AtopicDermatitis.net!

In honor of our 2-Year Anniversary here at AtopicDermatitis.net, we wanted to focus on the impact of our online community for people living with atopic dermatitis, commonly referred to as eczema.

What does the eczema community mean to you?

In an effort to understand the real value of this eczema community, we didn’t have to look very far. We asked some of our community members on Instagram and Facebook one simple question: What does the eczema community mean to you? Here’s what they had to say:

People who understand

"Means a lot cause I can both take advice but also I realize there are people like me and they understand me"

"Having someone understand what is going on with me and eczema."

Knowledge and help from others

"I no longer feels like I’m a weirdo knowing that many others are dealing with it. Lots of knowledge about how to deal with it better."

"Help .. voices from others"

A place of encouragement

"This is where I feel I am normal again and gain encouragement"

"Really great encouragement site"

It means everything

"Everything. I sleep better than before."

"It means everything. Knowing I'm not alone after years of feeling that way."

"Home"
