Minoxidil

Hello,
I'm curious to hear peoples thoughts. I used rogaine years ago for hair loss and I believe it led to dermatitas. Rogaine is minoxidil mixed with alchohol and other ingredients. I'm now considering using a product for hair loss which is a minoxidil compounded formula mixed with a steroid meant to prevent inflammation, trentonoin(retin A), flucinolone, a natural 5 alpha reductase blocking agent, and oleanolic acid. It's called Formula 82M. Any thoughts on whether this would be okay for an eczema prone person?

  1. Thanks Cora. I'm asking my doctor today. Look forward to hearing other peoples thoughts.

    1. how is it going now? What did your doctor say, if you don't mind me asking? I hope you got some clarity! -Nina (AtopicDermatitis.net Team Member)

  2. Good question, and I hope some of our great community members will have an answer for you. But it is a question best answered by your own doctor. I lost all my hair about 7 years ago, used Rogaine, steroids, everything my dermatologist recommended. Still bald. But thankfully none of it impacted my eczema. Wishing you well going forward with this, Cora Lyn, AtopicDermatitis.net Team Member
