I’ve visited many doctors (pediatric, family, allergist, dermatologist) and have always been given a specific sub-type diagnosis being that there are seven different types. Dermatitis can look very different on the scalp, face, hands, and overall body, and treatments vary accordingly.Have you received a general diagnosis, or are you just curious? If it’s the former, you might consider reaching out to your doctor for clarity. Sometimes, visits can feel rushed, with lots of information discussed it's easy to miss details.
