  1. great to know you're getting some relief with your skin using phototherapy. is totally correct to say that it is not effective for all patients but I have recently been gifted a machine by a friend for personal use. Tbh I hardly use it but it's great if and when my eczema is flaring.Phototherapy light screen

    1. What a generous gift from your friend! It's truly a blessing to have something so accessible for those unpredictable flare-ups. Is it complicated to operate? Why don't more people have machines like this at home? Chava B. Wald (Moderator & Contributor)

    2. I am very fortunate to have friends that want to help. It has to be said that my flare ups are managed mainly by my diet and exercise and creams/moisturizers routine. It's not complicated to operate one bit - literally a few dials for time of use and to turn the machine on. I think the reasons people don't have these machines at home is because they're quite expensive and they take up a bit of space. Also, it's not something you can use everyday so you have to be careful about usage.

  2. that is fantastic to know that you have such great results with phototherapy. Certainly, there are those that do very well with this, as contributor described in his article. However, not everyone experiences the same results. I tried phototherapy, and it didn't work for me. What influenced your choice to try this treatment option? How has your general lifestyle and possibly other prior treatments changed since trying phototherapy? Chava B. Wald (Moderator & Contributor)
