Is this dermatitis?
Hi everyone. I hope you’re all well! I had this unusual ‘rash’ start around 4 weeks ago. I had eczema as a small child which I luckily grew out of, I just get the odd dry/sore cracks of my arms and behind my knees throughout winter.
I contacted my GP, and a nurse practitioner contacted me and I sent some photos. She suggested perhaps fungal/allergy, I’ve been using daktacort x2 a day and dermol500 emollient 4 times a day. This hasn’t helped, I called again and a paramedic said to try piriton. This hasn’t worked, either. It isn’t particularly bothersome thankfully, gets a bit itchy when I’m too warm but otherwise it’s just spreading. It started as a few spots now both (inner) arms are covered, my shoulders, my stomach, lower back and tops of my thighs are covered. I’ll attach some photos to see if you guys have any ideas as I showed a friend who said it *could* be dermatitis.

Thanks for sharing this. While I read and saw the word "spreading" my first thought is to get a second opinion to be sure if this is could be indeed dermatitis. Be sure to continue to pay close attention to the prescriptions that you have been given and even any lotions and scrubs that you have used. Please continue to keep us posted as we will be support you in any way we can.

- thanks for posting this photo of your skin. It is difficult to say with any certainty whether this is dermatitis or not because we are not doctors here, but it may well be.
