New skin rash

I started this skin rash about two weeks ago. It started with tiny bumps then grew bigger and more red. What could it be and should I treat it? Is it possible to avoid antihistamine and/or cortisone?

  1. While I'm not a doc and can't diagnose, when a rash starts small and gets bigger and more red, it could be a number of things. Steering clear of antihistamines and cortisone might limit your options, but there are natural remedies like aloe vera or oatmeal baths that can soothe irritated skin. Still, the best bet is to get it checked out by a professional who can give you tailored advice. Stay hydrated and keep the area clean and dry in the meantime!

    1. Hello and welcome to our online community. I understand your questions and curiosity about this sudden skin rash; however, we are unable to provide medical diagnosis and treatments. My suggestion is to check with your health care provider who knows your medical history best and can make appropriate recommendations specific for you.
