"daughter not great..dupixent not helping much but could be allergies are so high around here concerned her feet are so red itchy and throbing sometimes"
nebi55, sorry to hear that your daughter is still struggling 🙁 That must be so disappointing that the dupixent isn't helping. The extreme heat sounds terrible, and I'm hoping she feels better as the weather begins to cool down. The AD community is always here for you, so you are always welcome to come here and share how things are going. Sorry that you were having trouble finding things here, we actually don't have much information about feet specifically, but I did find this article which may help: (https://nationaleczema.org/eczema/types-of-eczema/dyshidrotic-eczema/). Keep in touch with how everything is going. -Sarah (AtopicDermatitis.net Team Member)
Thanks for responding...my daughter has an appt coming up soon with her derm.but she is at the point that she knows more then the dr. and she does because she has been struggling so long with this disease...she tried soaking her feet but the water burned..they are so cracked open...she has been putting some mupricin on them and elta moisturing cream after that..helps for the moment but needs to be reapplied every few hours or they start to burn again..the itching never stops even after appling topical cordnisone….it doesn help that our weather is so hot and humid right now..well all summer this year and all though she has environmental allergies ragweed is the worse and very high right now...we are very sad that the dupixent hasn't helped as much as we thought it would but thinking with the etreme heat we have had this year that other things are interfering..at least we hope that is why and that with summer coming to an end it will help more..anyway thank you again for responding..I will look up others who are having the feet prblems although I seem to be having a problem finding things here sorry for the long rant
nebi55, I'm sorry to hear your daughter isn't doing great and that dupixent isn't helping much... red, itchy and throbbing on her feet too. Have you been able to ask her doctor about any soaks or treatments to help her feet? Many others in the community have said they struggle with this on their feet too. -Sarah (AtopicDermatitis.net Team Member)
