How do you manage costs with eczema?

Eczema can be expensive, between prescription and over-the-counter treatments and specialized skincare products. How do you manage the expenses associated with this management and routine?

  1. In the UK so we get it for free for my son - however have to fight for certain items. Zinc Bandages, Dermal 600 and Cotton gloves where hard to get on repeat. Potent steroids of 100g - easy to get no questions asked.

The thing that is costly is all the other stuff we try and doesn't work. Sometimes I wonder with the creams if I am being scammed of if genuinely has got people's eczema flares down, actual flares not just moisturising the skin.

    1. thank you so much or sharing! There are definitely a lot of "hidden costs" or things some might not consider "for their eczema" but they definitely are! Like the dairy free yogurt or new clothes. For many, those are necessary changes they have to make for their eczema but they're not an official "treatment". We appreciate you sharing your list with us! Best, Sam S. (COPD team).
